In this situation, I think the helmet aspect is almost comical. I mean, in football you wear a helmet because you don't want to get your face pounded into -grass-, or get hit by a -person-... yet the idea of flying 60mph into pavement doesn't justify that same level of protection. Hmm, ok :P.
