    Threshold on Wikipedia

Threshold, as many of you seem to know, is on Wikipedia (I guess thank to Kiania? woot!) But the only race that has any information about it is Kestrel (Woot again!)

I was thinking maybe it would be a neat idea for some of the other races to maybe collaborate some history and current information to submit.

Also maybe some information about some of the religions and clans, since they are all mentioned. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be more then happy to collect information and organize it for approval.

    This is the Wikipedia entry

    Just a thought!

*nods* Indeed that was me, but I didn't put in any details about other races, or any guilds/clans/religions, I simply don't know enough to make anything of interest.
At the time, I think it got mentioned on citizen, but with no interest it got dropped. Hope you find some more things to add!

That's a great idea. More content there would be marvellous.

The Threshold entry its tagged for deletion for Non notability (NN) the article needs to follow the guidelines .

Maybe adding the awards from the website and any other press might keep it there, I'm busy right now, but I might do it next week if no one has.

I don't know much about how Wikipedia works as far as keeping articles, but if anyone knows how it works, please help keep the entry alive.

I just now visited the Threshold entry and I did not notice where it is marked for Non Notability.

    Was that already removed?

Also, what sort of stuff should we add to make it more appropriate for Wikipedia?

What's the guidelines URL? It seems to have been trimmed.

    This is the guidelines url:

and yeah, someone editted out the deletion notice, but reading the deletion guidelines, I'm not sure that this would matter. It just depends on how annoying the guy who put it up chooses to be. Reading the guidelines, it seems that winning awards and getting independant press (both of which threshold has done) should be enough to keep it on Wikipedia, as long as someone puts them in the article in an appropriate way (ie, very factual).

I added a section on awards and some press that Threshold has received. I hope that will help.

Yeah, reading the guidelines it says:

Web-specific content[3] is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria:

The content itself has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself.
This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper and magazine articles, books, television documentaries, and published reports by consumer watchdog organizations.[4] except for the following:
Media re-prints of press releases and advertising for the content or site.[5]
Trivial coverage, such as newspaper articles that simply report the internet address, the times at which such content is updated or made available, a brief summary of the nature of the content or the publication of internet addresses and site or content descriptions in internet directories or online stores.
The website or content has won a well known and independent award, either from a publication or organisation.[6]

both of which Threshold meets, assuming that the same thing holds for online games as does web content (someone who knows more could define where exactly the content is), I couldn't find a more appropriate notability category than internet content. That guy is a wikisnob! If he wants to delete stuff, he should troll through the biographies or bands, people are always putting their scrub bands up who have zero gigs and half a demo tape and calling them the best band ever, reviewed by their friends, its sorta funny.

Thresh-X goons keep adding shite to the Wikipedia entry for Threshold. At present, they've added in a link to their site in with the other links. While I realize that we don't really want it there, I'm not certain that it's within acceptable wikipedia use to remove it. Advise?
