I agree that save % and GAA are important, and that winning isn't the end all say all, but those two stats are as hard, if not harder to get than wins are, when playing for a shitty team.

Example = Nikolai Khabibulin. He's not the godsend of goaltending, but he's a pretty solid guy. He goes to Chicago and his save % is under 900 and his GAA was almost three and a half. I don't wanna hear about how he's overrated because of the team Tampa Bay had in front of him, cause they were mediocre, AT BEST, defensively.....Much like Edmonton's defense is mediocre at best in front of Roloson.

Like I said though, I'm on board that these stats are valuable in determining the worth of a goalie, but the bottom line is the win. That's why guys like Legace, Lundqvist, Turco and Vokoun won't be put into the same category as your Roy's and Brodeur's.

I'm all for Edmonton now to win the Cup. Neither team from the East gets any love from me cause they're both American teams. I wanna see a Canadian team take it, and in a weird sort of way, I kinda like Chris Pronger. Has anyone else noticed how beat down he looks? They're playing the SHIT out of him and it's really starting to wear. I hope he has a few more games left in him, he's put in his time and has earned a Cup.
