It depends on what your focus is. To my understanding his offense is tremendous for a 2B but his defense is horrendous.
He was traded, he never requested a no-trade clause in his contract or was never able to attain one. I would have more sympathy for him if he had a no trade clause and the Rangers wanted to move him/forced him to move.
Here he knew, or his agent should have known, that if he was traded to another team with a good defensive 2B that there was no way he was playing that position.
For the record I wish that the Eagles would have disqualified TO forever, not just released him.
