Well, out comes good old Godwin's Law again. And only 5 posts in too, damn!
Anyway, any judgement on the current state of Hamas will be irrelevant in the coming weeks/months. Palestine is pretty fucked financially, and the 'let's blow up Israel!' stance isn't exactly going to keep foreign aid flying in.
As Jidoe said, they have two high-level options. They can try to get their shit together and make some compromises, or they can keep up their militant activism. However, I think they realize that their actions will be watched much more closely now that they're the Palestinian ruling faction.
