Why are there people saying this performance upstaged the NFL?

Seriously... he scored a lot of points in a regular season game against an expansion CANADIAN team in an over extended, worthless, thug dominated NBA. *yawn*

If he scored 200 points, I wouldn't give a fuck with the state of the current NBA.

He could score 500 points and it wouldn't be better than the NFL, college football bowl season (or someday maybe... playoffs), college basketball March Madness, or pretty much any other post season.
