He knew he wasn't getting the Heisman, everyone knew it was Bush's this year. He was miffed about the margin by which he lost. After the Rose Bowl he commented about his Heisman pose and didn't come off as upset about not winning it at all. As long as he takes classes if he goes back for another year I won't question his decision of course.
