I felt bad for Herm this season. He got a lot of flack here in NYC for sticking with the weak-armed, often hurt Pennington, but the fact of the matter is he had no control over personnel. He basically had to coach what the front office gave him and had little (if any) say in who stays and who goes.
The Jets have got one of the shittiest front offices in the league and that's why they rarely make it to the postseason. I go to several Jets games a year. They have some of the most die-hard fans, but the front office is so grossly mismanaged that it's an insult to Gang Green.
