Vikings hire Childress

I think this is a good fit for them. They want somebody to restore some order to the team and improve their image, and hopefully win a few games along the way. I think he's their man. I wouldn't have minded seeing Childress in Green Bay, but now I'll be throwing massive hate his way and hope he flops!

Chiefs close to deal with Edwards

This will give the Jets an opening for a head coach. I think KC got a good deal on him, a fourth round pick for a decent coach. We'll have to see if Edwards can get it done in KC where he should have a better relationship with the front office...assuming the contract negotiations go well.
