    Suppose the hostile nations are conquered and crushed. When the oil runs out in 50 years would the territories be returned?

    I have been hearing that 50 year estimate for about 20 years. That's a crock. I think it is a lie to help propogate a false scarcity.

    Do I wish we'd stop using oil/gas for fuel and heat? Yes.

    Do I think we have a lot more than the sellers want to admit to? Hell yes.
