One of the New York Rangers' players, 24-year-old left winger Fedor Fedorov, went to Ybor City to celebrate his team's win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.
A man apparently got sick of the apparent gloating by Fedorov and punched him near the entrance of Club Prana.
"He was hit in the face," said Tampa Police Department Public Information Officer Laura McElroy. "Possibly broke his nose. Definitely gave him a big black eye, swollen right eye. He refused to go to the hospital and at this point, we're trying to confirm exactly who struck him."
