I'm pretty sure the Player of the Game award in the PSU vs Michigan game has to goto The Officiating Crew. Here are just a few examples why:

Michigan's First Touchdown, on a third down conversion the Refs spotted the ball a yard and a half away from where the reciever was down giving him just enough for the first down.

On Michigan's Drive to go up 21-18, the same exact situation happened above.

Also on Michigan's Drive to up up 21-18 Hart fumbled at the 50 yard line, it wasn't reviewed and was given back to Michigan when after the replay showed he Hart clearly lost the football.

After completing a third down pass, the play was reviewed, and without irrefutable evidence was over turned and made a fourth down. Luckily PSU fought past this and scored a touchdown to go up 25-21.

On Michigan's Final Drive, first play from scrimmage they threw a 21 yard pass, the recievers heel was clearly out of bounds. The play was called a catch and not reviewed.

Second Play of Michigan's final drive, they threw the ball to a reciever, he was in bounds, time ran off the clock and they called a time out. Lloyd Carr cried and moaned to the referees and they put two seconds back on the clock.

Penn State lost the game with 1 second left, notice above the significance of those two seconds, and the extra 21 yards.

There were so many bad spots in the game that went against Penn State it wasn't even funny. Numerous plays I saw the Michigan line holding Penn State defenders, yet the only holding call I remember was when Michael Robinson ran it for 15 yards and a first down on PSU's final drive. Oh well, they can still win the Big Ten, enough of my whining right?
