Or, maybe they wouldn't let the fact that she's a woman stop them from voting for her.

I think it's a wash. I missed the first episode of the show, and I've really wanted to see it all summer.

I saw it, and it has some promise, but the premiere was very badly written. The characters are all cardboard cutout charicatures, and it kept hitting the same solitary note over and over again - woman president, "WOW! Woman President"

"OMFG!!!! Woman President"

I suspect they think the audience is so stupid that political drama has to be painted in cartoon colors. I am hoping the rest of the series doesn't treat the audience so patronizingly.
