This is ridiculous but that's the Christian faith for ya. I heard this on the radio this morning and had to share with you all. Unreal huh?

...just wow! How can that be legal, or even morally right? If there were no complaints about the parents up until that point, why does it make any difference that she has two loving parents who care for their children and each other, but both happen to be female?

I'd assume the school had some sort of reason, but as they are refusing to comment, it just adds fire to the story.

    Very not good.

If it's a Christian school, they, unfortunately, are a private school and can choose their students based on all sorts of criteria, including political leanings and sexual orientation. I'm shocked it happened in California of all places!! (The first time I read it, all I saw was Ontario, and I thought it was in Canada!)

Does anyone know what denomination of Christianity?

Calvinism is a system of Christian theology advanced by John Calvin, a Protestant Reformer in the 16th century, and further developed by his followers, associates and admirers. The term also refers to the doctrines and practices of the Reformed churches, of which Calvin was an early leader. Calvinism is perhaps best known for its doctrine of predestination, and its history is associated with some notable experiments in Christian theocracy.

That says nothing about their belief system, though.

Here's another article about this. I got a kick out of this part:

Richard Gonzales, of Ontario, said he pays a lot of money to keep his son out of public schools, which he said are plagued by drugs and gangs.

"That's why we pay the big bucks, so we can keep them away from this contamination," he said, gesturing toward the protesters.
The article later states that Mr. Gonzalez is divorced. So on one hand you've got a lesbian couple together for 22 years, and on the other a divorced guy paying 'big bucks' to avoid the contamination of the gays. It's amusing which one meets the school's criteria for a 'positive Christian lifestyle.'

As Dalaena said, because it's a private school it's legal.

As for the morality of it, morality is relative. Those who did this probably ask the same thing about gays. "How can they morally do that?"
If violence is not your last resort, you have failed to resort to enough of it.
