It is a shame to see Favre coming back, instead of retiring, for this crap.
To be honest, i'm not sure why Favre did come back. He said he doesn't want to stick around for a team that's 'rebuilding', but he's about the only one in the state of Wisconsin that didn't see this as a rebuilding year. Look at the offseason the Pack had. They drafted a QB in the 1st round, didn't resign either of it's starting guards, didn't sign ANYONE in free agency, let Darrin Sharper walk away to Minnesota and cut a few other high priced players right before the start of the season (and took huge salary cap hits in the process). Next year looks even worse, with Ahman Green a free agent and the salary cap situation looking even worse because of all the 'dead money'.
I don't see any way he comes back next year, but he was great to watch over the years.
