As an employee in what is termed a "small business" I understand that if the company goes bankrupt that means I'm out of a job. The shit has hit the fan and it's time to pack up and move on. Greater debt than income.

So why do huge corporate airlines get to hang around when they file for bankruptcy? Keeping smaller airlines from having an available market to target. What makes them so special? No other industry does this on such a consistent basis.

Doesn't this go against everything a free-market capitalist society holds dear? Why are huge airlines able to continue to operate in the red while small business ailrlines continually go under because they have no available market?
