Another point I'd like to add is that letting all these immigrants come here to work is not going to have any long term negative impact on our country. They will contribute to the economy as much or more than anyone else here, and the long term impact will be a bigger pie for the whole country, rather than smaller pieces of the same pie for everyone.

We have PLENTY of room. I do not recall the exact statistics, but something like 80% of our population lives within 100 miles of either the east or west coast.

I have seen with my own eyes what happens when immigrants come to the US. Drive around the middle of the country and visit some podunk, dinky little towns. I would bet you that if you visited 10 dinky towns, at least half of them would have doctors from India or Asia. American doctors can't be bothered to work in these little towns. But people from other countries are THRILLED to serve these small towns. Without these foreign doctors, these small towns would be without sufficient health care. Their only option would be to drive hundreds of miles when they needed medical attention. Once again, immigrants demonstrate their enormous value to our country by providing this much needed and vitally important service where native born Americans would never even consider going.
