I split this off because it deserves its own thread.

1) I hope this keeps him out of the Hall of Fame.

2) I hope he retires before Bonds.

3) This would mean the 5 year time span before he is elligible would toll before Bonds'.

4) If he is rejected for the reason of steroid use, then hopefully that will establish a standard that will also keep Bonds out.

5) People have often drawn parallels between the careers of Rafael Palmeiro and Fred McGriff. Palmeiro was able to outlast McGriff and finish polishing off his numbers. Gee........ now we know why. I hope this fact will help Fred "the Crimedog" McGriff get IN, since there has never been suspicion that he used roids.
