8 years isn't really "getting older" for a receiver- especially with the way the rules coddle receivers now. That is pretty much just coming into one's prime.

Also, $1.6 million or whatever is kinda ridiculous for one of the top receivers in the league.

I'm not sure what happened here, but it seems crazy. This isn't like a T.O. situation.

I think it is a bad policy to just automatically say "We stop negotiations if someone doesn't come to camp." You should never limit your options with such a rigid rule.

I like the Steelers, and on top of that, Ward is a UGA grad. I'd like to see them work something out.
