The ownership would be smart to have a cut in ticket prices considering they most likely lost a huge fan base due to the lockout. Get the families and kids back to enjoy the game without spending 100+ dollars. I think management will be smart enough to realize they will have to make some effort to get casual fans back, I hope.

From the looks of it the players took the worse end of the deal with the salary cap and having salaries cut. Contracts are going to be redone and its going to be a hot mess all over to get people signed and in place.

They also are considering some new rules to make the game more high scoring and fast paced, like having no redline, smaller goalie equipment, and having a shootout after an overtime if the game is tied. (cool) Because honestly, its stupid to have an NHL team go through a season with 30 tie games.

Yes, Hartford could use the WHALE back in its lame ass city. Id be one of the people going to those games since I work there. I was a LOT more interested in hockey when they were here thats for sure.
