While I would like nothing more to see the NHL make a return to Winnipeg, to me, it wouldn't be the same. However, we have an AHL team that's done extremely well these last few years. While the NHL's return in general will be nice, unfortunately for our team next year, being an affiliate of the Canucks(who pull up almost every player for a few weeks, when they show a lot of promise), it will impact us, IMHO, when the Moose try to get into full swing.

The other thing is, if the NHL -does- want to return to Winnipeg, what happens to the Moose? Do we ship them out like yesterday's trash simply to bring back the Jets? Or do we simply let them die out, like other cities who had both an NHL and AHL team?
