They were both bad picks. That is not being denied.

But Bettis was a worse pick to have that high, because he wasn't slated to start, didn't start, and produced almost nothing.

Also, RBs are a dime a dozen. A WR that will give you 11 TDs and ~1000 yards is a lot more valuable.
