True that something has to be done. It is a good measure that the British government investigate radical clerics. I also think, Muslim families will keep an eye on their children like ours did for drugs, alcohol and cigarrettes.

The suicidal bombers seemed to be fine, happy, normal lads but we know there is always something wrong. There they were, given them a path to follow and the promise of 26 wives (more than you will ever get in your whole life).

However, I think people just dramatise. Take a look at this statistics:

The fact is that double the cyclist died in the road in 2004 and more than 3000 were road killed in 2004 but nobody looks with menace to someone with a car. One night your friend offers you a ride and there is a much greater probability to get killed that very night than to be under the effects of a terrorist attack, though you do not think of your friend like a man slaughter or suicidal bastards (although drinking and driving in the night has a lot of suicidal and slaughter). But hey!

After Sep. 11, there has not been more terrorist attacks in the U.S. After Mar. 11 there has not been more terrorist attacks in Spain. In the other hand people keep dying in the roads at that rate.

Personally I avoid rides with my "happy friends" in the nights, I do not bring the car when I go out and I am not paranoid about taking the public transport and having a conversation with a man with turban or a woman with Muslim clothes. Call me suicidal!

This is possibly because:

A/ Blowing up innocent men, women and children with a high explosive manufactured to kill people, and
B/ Being involved in a road accident with something manufactured for transport.

...are two completlely different things.

A more valid comparison would be to compare a terrorist with a mass murderer. Both have the same intent and goals; violence and agony of anyone and everyone.

And atomic weapons have not been used in warfare since the second world war. Should we ignore them and let anyone manufacture and sell them? Obviously not, and the same applies to terrorists and terrorism.

I think I may misconstrued some of your comments Salimar, hence my sarcasm about being at war with all Muslims. I was being flippant more than anything, because I am pissed of with the appeasement tone many people have post terrorist acts like London.

I did indeed. Exactly the same as 9/11 and Bali. Hence terrorism is only equatable to mass murder and not road accidents or any other statistics associated with death.
