I am a firefox user. I have had very little complaints with the browser until recently.
It seems there is a pop-up spam from Aurora that I can't get rid of. Does anyone have any information on how to rid my computer of this?

They're getting worse. I have popups from yazifind and neededware that I can't root out no matter what I do. If you find out anything, post it!

I keep getting one from tribalfusion.
WTF Firefox! Fix this pop up vulnerability!
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

I have the same problem with the Aurora pop-ups and nothing I've done has helped. I think the most annoying part about it, is half the time there's an error in the script so I get another pop-up asking me if I want to continue running script for the pop-up.
Some of the forums around the web have you download a program, and run it and then post a log on their site, and then they'll tell you what to get rid of. That seems to get rid of the problem for some people, but it's a lot of work (they have you restart your computer in safe mode a lot, and run programs and search for files that might not even be there in the first place). I'm personally not that desperate to get rid of it. If I find a simple way I'll let you know, but so far I've had no luck.
[Gethsemane] Nephrys: I've been thinking. Do you suppose the Lord Gethsemane
ever thought about taking a mortal bride?
[Gethsemane] Deokoria: No.
[Gethsemane] Nephrys: Why do you suppose?
[Gethsemane] Deokoria: I would think that Gethsemane settling for a mortal
bride would be akin to you marrying a roach.
I think I may have found the solution to this problem.
Go into the Change/Remove Programs thing on your computer. Scroll down until you get to one about ABI (ABI is the company that owns Aurora or something. I'm not certain. I don't care. They can all die). When you click on the remove option it will prompt you with a way to contact customer support or something.
There should be an option to get contact info. In this information is the url to a website. On that website is an uninstall wizard that you can download and will get rid of the pop-ups (Hopefully)
So far I haven't seen any after doing this. If it fails to work I will post stating such.
If violence is not your last resort, you have failed to resort to enough of it.
AGH!!!! Don't do that!! While it will get rid of the Aurora pop-ups, the uninstall thing implants more harmful things on the computer!! They've made the pop-ups so difficult to remove that it seems the only way you can get rid of them is by 'conveniantly' downloading the uninstall thing that THEY make. But it's even worse. I'm not sure exactly what it puts on your computer, but everything I've read about the Aurora program has stated not to do that! Although everyone who has done that has stated that the pop-ups don't come back. So.. I still have no idea what to do. I'm working with this one program called HijackThis or something. Since it accesses things on my comp that I don't really want to screw with, I'm hoping that whatever spyware is on there is named something extremely obvious.
