That's damn unrealistic. How many of these watchers are really gonna allow themselves to be publicly counted? Really? I mean if I watched that stuff I wouldn't.

Really!
But seriously, simply tracking of web traffic should be enough of a testament to its demand and profitability. But keeping records of performers' age isn't unreasonable at all. I would think it common sense to keep yourself out of trouble.
Oh, just an observation:
"said porn webmaster Jim McAnally"
How fitting.
"If the original content producer can't be found or went out of business or is unwilling to release information, that causes this content to become criminal overnight"
Huh?? Just because the company went out of business?? Isn't that a bit unreasonable? I think the government's big brother stance is getting overzealous again.
As far as shutting down sites with stolen content, more power to them! As profitable as the porn industry is, legislation as it is makes it far more profitable to steal and distribute content. There is no way the government can and will eliminate the adult entertainment industry, but maybe this will make it more honest. On the other hand, the personal porn sites featuring the webmaster her(him)self, shouldn't be at any risk, from what I've read here. Oh, and the all-out elimination of kiddie porn has my FULL support!
