Free movies and tv shows and stuff site

I assume this site should work in other countries and isn't blocked to anyone outside of Korea..

    www.blueyoyo.com

It's free to register. Then if you go to the cafes and clubs section, and "join" the movies, or tv shows or whatever, you can download stuff.

Its a direct download.. no bittorrent or anything. I get speeds of 500 KB (not Kb) a second. So I can download a movie in like 25 minutes. Which is pretty nifty.

The site is free at the moment but they might charge later.

Oh yeah, it unfortunately only works with internet explorer, not firefox etc. Which sucks. but oh well..

I checked it out and it seemed to work fine with firefox.

How the heck is this site possible, and any predictions before they get slaughtered by the RIAA, MPAA, etc?

Maybe I need to update my version of firefox. When I go to the download part theres no files to select in the little selection box.

I guess its possible because its in Korea, and piracy is rampant here. I don't know whether Korea even has copyright laws etc. If this site becomes too well known outside of Korea though I'm sure they will try and shut it down.

There is another site where you can watch streamed movies (with Korean subtitles) but I don't know the address off hand. All free. But you need a decent internet connection. And the ability to read Korean since the (English) names are written in the Korean alphabet heh.

Anyway I like that site for now. I never got a download speed that fast on a single file with bittorrent (though my total download speed has exceeded that before when downloading a bunch of things at once.

Hmmm. I never actually tried to download anything so perhaps firefox does not work.

It works for poking around the site but I didn't go any further than that.
