Barry Bonds is a real piece of work. The guy is a cheater, and he actually has the gall to try and take the moral high ground.

The San Francisco Giants slugger also said he was physically and mentally "done," and blamed the media for at least part of his troubles.

"I'm tired of my kids crying. You wanted me to jump off a bridge, I finally did," Bonds told reporters Tuesday, shortly after returning to training camp. "You finally brought me and my family down. ... So now go pick a different person."
They maybe you shouldn't have taken steroids, you fucking cheater.

Do you ever stop and think perhaps the stress steroid use puts on your joints (due to excessive muscle growth and negative effects on ligaments and joint lubrication) might have something to do with all these knee problems you are suddenly having?

Sitting at a picnic table outside the Giants' clubhouse with his 15-year-old son, Nikolai, at his side, Bonds said, "My son and I are just going to enjoy our lives. You guys wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got me."
Finally "got you"?!?!?!?! You got yourself, asshole, by cheating with steroids.

This guy has ADMITTED to taking at least two different types of steroids. His pathetic argument is "I didn't know they were steroids." (Give me a fucking break).

But that still means he TOOK STEROIDS.

And he wonders why people are chasing the story?

From the beginning his criticism was that it was a witch hunt.

Well, since it is TRUE that you took steroids Barry, I guess it wasn't a witch hunt, eh?

Barry, you cannot deny the absolute FACT that you did indeed take steroids and nobody would ever have known without all the research and investigations.

What is really funny is when you look at Barry Bonds' stats, you can see EXACTLY when he started taking roids:

I hope this chart doesn't screw up the formatting of this page, but here goes:

Somewhere right around 1999 he started taking roids. After that, his HR and RBI numbers went through the roof, and his stolen bases practically disappeared.

Notice how from 1993 to 1999 his power and production numbers were slowly but steadily falling (especially from 1996 to 1999). That had to worry him as he was getting into his mid 30s. When baseball players decline, it is rarely a long slow descent.

When Frank Robinson was 38 years old, he slammed 22 homers and at that point, he needed only 26 to reach 600. But Robinson managed just nine the next year, and three in 1976 before retiring as an active player.

Willie Mays batted .291 when he was 39 years old, slugging 28 homers for the San Francisco Giants and pulling into range of 700 homers for his career. But at age 40, Mays hit 18. At age 41, he had eight homers, and in his final season, in 1973, Mays hit six homers.

Babe Ruth was still one of the game's best hitters when he was 38 years old, bashing 34 homers in 1933. But at age 39, Ruth played his last season for the Yankees and managed 22 homers. The next season was his last, and at age 40, the great Ruth hit six homers.
So Barry saw his power and production falling steadily and took action. He got on roids.

Starting in 2000, his numbers went absolutely through the ROOF. Suddenly, in his late 30s, he was better than he ever had been.

CHEATER.

Further evidence is how it affected his speed statistics like stolen bases. As he bulked up with an amount of muscle a 35+ year old man should not be able to add, his speed dropped while his power went up.

Barry Bonds, you are a cheater.

You knew you were cheating.

But even if you are not lying and didn't know you were using roids, you still DID USE ROIDS.

Stop acting like the victim when it is you that put a blight on baseball and on every record you hold.
