Hubba hubba hubba.....who do ya' trust??

the subject title, of course, spoken by the Joker in the first Batman movie!!

I'm referring to, of course the Jeff Gannon story (I hesitate to refer to it as a scandal, as nothing ever seems to stick to this administration).

Hopefully, the truth will come out over time. In the meantime, we're left wondering, who the hell are we supposed to trust with news and the facts anymore?
The White House can't be trusted. Several news sources have shot themselves in the foot; like the NYTimes, USA Today, who can forget CBS and Dan Rather.

I think these are very serious and very scary times, where we're being marketed news, like corporations market their products.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said. But I am not sure you realise that what you heard is not what I meant.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind. -Dr. Suess

It's simple, you can't trust anyone. We're to the point that it isn't about revisionist history anymore, we live in the revisionist present. All you can do is weed through all the BS, get to the facts and then put those facts into the right context and decide for yourself what you want to believe.

Damn. That's a very pithy and clever statement. I'll have to borrow that one, if you do not object.

And then there are people who will quote a miswording/mis-statement in an attempt to degrade the person who spoke it.

Honesty and integrity are hard to find these days.
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

There is never a good time for lazy writing!
