    The Pants Bill

These kinds of laws make the US a laughing stock as the example of democracy.

I have to wonder how it will be enforced. Just think how crooked cops could pull down a suspects pants to pile on another violation. It's an outrage!

I'm curious what the bill actually says. If a violation means a low riding pants that shows the underwear, would it mean low riding pants but no underwear is ok? Wow it's so deep...

This is an example of something I think the government should stay out of and ordinary citizens should deal with.

To hell with making it illegal. Instad, just deny service in your business establishment to people who are dressed how you feel is inappropriate.

People wearing revealing clothing has never bothered me too much. But I also try to show respect to everyone when I choose what I wear. I'm a pretty conservative person in regards to my dress. But everyone is entitled to their own standard (within rather obvious limits) This however doesn't mean that everyone has to agree, or choose to associate with those who dress like such.

Land of the Free? Whoever told you that is your Enemy

    'nuff said.

US: Advertise that "Land of the Free" is an out of date advertising slogan which is no longer relevant. OR be a Land of the Free again. Don't be a land of overwhelming rules, laws, guidelines, restrictions and other invasions of freedoms and still claim to be a "Land of the Free". One or the other sweetcheeks. (I'd recommend the free thing, its cooler)

Oh how many things there are like this!! The trouble is, people have gotten into an attitude of "The Gummint should do sumfin" (note also the Strine word "Aorta" as in "Aorta make the buses roomier. And aorta put more seats in 'em. And aorta make 'em take less room on the road.").

Really, it's like asking for code support for everything in Threshold. It's like saying, "I want to be able to hold a party in my house, and set the invite list to accept only people wearing VVV clothing". Sure it's possible, but it isn't the admin's responsibility to legislate and enforce (though at least in the case of Thresh, the enforcement is easy).
