Man, the Pats' winning ways have been anything but perfect, and anything but boring.

Last season, when we started a twelve game win streak after a 2-2 start, alot of those wins were tooth and nail, back and forth, mistake filled, any combination of the three. One of my most common statements was, "That was one ugly game. But it looks beautiful in the W column."

The sheer variety of gameplans and styles they shift through to address both the roster, injuries, and opposing team's strengths has been amazing, too. They just keep finding ways to win with whatever personnel they can. In any of these SuperBowl seasons they were a completely different team with a completely different style. Not just season to season, even during seasons.

Unlike some of the previous dynasty teams, who basically kept a core of awesome players with a game that just dominated the league, the Pats have had be chameleon-like to make this happen in free-agent, salary-cap times. (Having the Man in the Sweatshirt on the sidelines has been nice in this regard)

So, if you're bored of the same team winning the Superbowl, that's cool. But the Pats aren't surgical and dominant all the time. Many of those W's have been scary rides.
