As a team leader in the locker room, I'd bet he's been great for the younger players. He's still got good speed, he's still has the ability to draw some attention from others on the field and probably the best work ethic of any player in football history. He's a good pickup and if his work ethic and leadership rub off in the least to younger players he's well worth the little ,if any ,trouble it takes to keep him around. He's not a franchise player anymore, by any means ,but for the role he's been picked up for I think he can easily benefit the team.
