I have to say, I was totally converted to skype by a psycho fellow thresher!

I pop on every so often, my skype name is Xarion7, same as my Aim.

I think there should be a thread (or use this one) for fun 'Skype Me' mode stories! Some of the people that randomly skype you provide for hilarious entertainment.

Okay, fine then, so this one time I was in "skype-me" mode, and I get a call from some random person. It was a conference chat. Out of dire curiosity I popped on in, and was greeted with silence, except for a faint tapping in the background. I immediately feared something creepy was going on (ie. mass masturbation), but just before I hung up, I get a single response from one of them, "Dude".

I say, "Hi."

One says, "So, uh, you play wow?"
(Ahh, the tapping was a controller, not a joystick)

I say, "No"

Another says, "So, uh, do you play counterstrike"

"No"

"Aw, it's cool, you should"

(pause).

"Uh, do you play Halo?"

Well, you get the gist of it. This went on for about 10 minutes before I summarily hung up and shut down the application (which doesn't seem like a long time, but it is) and I LET it go in because I thought there was a tiny, itty-bitty chance they'd get to the reason WHY they skyped me.

I just don't understand some people.
