Actually. Its kind of frustrating to see this things happen. Sportsmen are role models. n s role models they have to put up good behaviour. To have children or young teens who inspire to become their role models see them bashing other people on national TV is really... bad.

Maybe the millions are getting into their heads...

However I doubt it will change anytime soon.

I think there was a time when sportsmen played cause they enjoyed it and had a passion for it. When they wanted to show the world they were that damn good.

Now a days, its this scandal, that scandal, and fights more fights more sex, drugs... and all sorts of other issues which have nothing to do with sports. And their behaviour on their playing field does not help either. I put soccer as an example. David Beckham, earns 800,000 pounds a week. Yet he does stupid things like pointing the finger at crowds and giving awful tackles and later admitting he did it. Quite a few soccer players also do other bad boo boos and get away really lightly.

Another problem is the governing sports body cannot take that much action due to the risk of losing fan base. I think that is why loads of sportsmen like Artest and Beckham get away relatively unhurt.

Sorry a little off topic... But need to let it out.
