I agree with Gilgamar and Zimri. This was just ridiculous. What has professional sports turned into? First we have the incident in Baseball now we have this in the NBA and now things are starting in the NFL.

However, and correct me if I'm wrong but the NFL has at least not involved the fans.

I think Artest should not only be removed for the season but completely! How many episodes does the guy need to have? Asset for the team or not it is showing that the NBA is accepting his reactions and just slapping him on the hand. Give me a break! There were children in the stands and what does that show them? It's okay to fight in sports and hell you can even attack the fans! Now don't get me wrong the idiot in the stands was fucking stupid too. He should be kicked out of ever seeing another NBA again for provoking it as much as it went to. Throw his ass in jail, throw Artest's ass in jail and show the kids who look to these people as rolemodels that this type of behavior is not tolerated in professional sports or ANY sports.

What would happen if this happened at a child's game? They would remove the child from the team and if the parents were involve they would kick them out too. They specifically stress in their applications that behavior like this would not be tolerated. So why is it different for a professional team?

The whole thing is absolutely outrageous and I can not believe that Artest sat there talking about it and then started promoting his CD. Give me a fucking break. He really is sorry for what he's done huh?
