There has to be a thread considering this fight!

Basically I loved it. I loved every minute of it. I loved seeing the situation degenerate from a little shouting match between the two teams to a full blown slugfest in the stands. I mean, the NBA game sucks terribly right now, and watching a game is not worth my while. Let's not forget to add the whole drama of players recording rap albums, beating up their wives, fathering illegitimate children, and for some reason always having to buy an Escalade. That's why something like this was excellent. It just captured the true nature of the NBA, and hell the true nature of the human race in that one moment.

Basically everyone was an idiot. Wallace was an idiot for fouling Artest, Artest was an idiot for acting like a jerk and lying on the scoreboard. When you do something like that then you're asking for debris to be thrown at you. The fans were idiots for throwing that beer cup at Artest, especially when it's well known around the league that Artest is volatile enough to go to take a gun to some random high school and shoot the place up. Oh and can't forget Artest being an idiot again by going after the poor thin dorky looking guy, who wasn't even the culprit who threw the cup at him (that short fat guy in the white shirt was).

Anyway, Artest was suspended for the season, Stephen Jackson (he was just flat out insane) 30 games, and Jermaine O'Neal for 25. These suspensions will get appealed and most definitely will get chopped down some. I don't believe Artest will really sit out this whole season.
