Some other great news about the coalition of the bribed...

The day after the UN decided to uptake the Oil for Food investigation. Good ole' Kofi's top aide, Iqbal Riza, shredded around three years worth of documents dealing with the fraudulent program. He says his secretary requested the shredding due to need for space in the office. Sounds plausable to me.

It's almost a shame that Dubbya , nor any of his fat-cat, oil cronie buddies, or especially Halliburton were implicated in this. THEN, the press would be demanding answers and severed heads.

The private sector is making a killing in Iraq. One of the guys who I used to go to school with is now over in Iraq having quit the Australian SAS and is now a security consultant to some private interest.

It's all going even further down hill.

    Hahahaha no kidding.

I love how this story won't go away. I love how Kofi can't make it disappear. Even throwing his own son onto the fire to try and save his ass won't make it end.

You just have to love the crooked United Nations:

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2...d_x.htm?csp=34

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The United Nations reinstated the only U.N. official who was fired over the Iraq oil-for-food scandal, after an internal appeals body ruled that he had done nothing wrong, according to a letter made public Tuesday.

The decision was made Monday and Joseph Stephanides, fired May 31, received the letter Tuesday maintaining that he violated staff rules by showing preference to one bidder for an oil-for-food contract but essentially acknowledging the punishment was too harsh.
