NASCAR replaces Hockey in Big Four

I recently read this SI article and now I feel dirty. I never really considered the possibility that NASCAR could be more popular than hockey. After reading the article, though, I thought a bit and realized I probably know more people who watch NASCAR than hockey. I have no clue how a bunch of cars driving a couple hundred times in a CIRCLE could be anything more than last-resort entertainment, but maybe I'm just bitter :P. The impending NHL lockout is already driving players into other leagues, this season's outlook is gloomy at best. Is hockey doomed? Does anyone care?

Let's just hope that the WWE doesn't try to start up the XHL...

    Isn't this somewhat irrelevant?

    There isn't a Big Four.

There is a Big Three and then there is everyone else.

Hell, I bet College Football and College Basketball are more popular than NASCAR or Hockey.

I do agree, however, that the insane popularity of NASCAR is very discouraging.
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

Though Earnhart Jr. getting a big fine for saying I don't give a shit about this race is kinda funny. I think NASCAR was a little upset! hehee

I'm not sure, but it's a REALLY close call. I might almost want to go outside and watch the grass grow over NASCAR. The ONLY thing I would watch for would be the crashes. And I don't watch enough to know how often someone flips their car end over end.

*flinds a nice soft place in the grass*
