    Week 5 Results

Vin’s Buttheads VS Xenoroyal’s New York GiMets

In the shocker of the week it was the GiMets (3-2-0) over the previously undefeated Buttheads (4-1-0). Both teams had the game of their seasons, but it was the GiMets that came out on top with an 84.72 to 76.47 victory. The GiMets bested their previous high by almost 20 points on their way to a well earned upset victory. The win puts them two spots higher to a seasons best sixth place. The Buttheads fell only one spot to third in this heartbreaking defeat. Next week the GiMets look to get another win against the Bitches while the Buttheads face a resurgent DC team hoping to break back into the top four.

    Falix’s PowderPuffs VS Drasoini’s Shellshock

In this weeks other shocker it was the Shock (3-2-0) over the Puffs (4-1-0). The Puffs have to be disappointed in giving this one away, letting the Shock steal a 59.85 to 47.41 victory. While it was an average game for the Shock it was the worst game by the Puffs by over 20 points. The Puffs fall out of first place, but hold second, while the Shock hold steady at seventh. Next week the Puffs face another top four team in the Blitz, while the Shock hope not to be shocked by the Dogs.

Pyryth’s Pokeys VS Liathano’s Discovery Channel

DC (3-2-0) rebounded strong after a horrid showing in last weeks game, putting up the most points and scoring the largest margin of victory as they put the Pokeys (2-3-0) down 88.82 to 60.12. With the win DC reclaims the point lead for the league, but remains in fifth place. The Pokeys continue their slide down the rankings and fall two spots to eighth. Next week DC looks to reclaim a top four spot as they face a Buttheads team coming off of a heartbreaking loss. The Pokeys will look to stop their slide as they face the winless Gorians.

Sebboe’s Seizuredogs VS Serith’s Christ Punchers

The Dogs (1-4-0) continued to get kicked this week as the Punchers (4-1-0) rolled over them on their way to a 60.39 to 33.50 victory. This was by far the worst showing from the Dogs whose only game of note was against the hapless Gorians. The Punchers reclaimed the top spot this week with the victory while the Dogs remain in ninth. Next week the Punchers look to pound on the Misfits while the Dogs try to make the beatings stop against the Shock.

    Gadiantor’s Gridiron Gorians VS Isaviel’s Blitzat1

The Blitz (4-1-0) became the hottest team in the league this week as they claimed their fourth win in a row against the Gorians (0-5-0). The Blitz continue to win efficiently as they edged the Gorians 65.34 to 58.02. With the victory the Blitz hold on to the fourth spot and sent the Gorians to DFL. The Gorians are still looking for their first victory despite having the sixth best point total in the league. Next week the Blitz face the Puffs as they look to keep the streak rolling and move up in the standings. The Gorians will be looking for that first win against the Pokeys.

Wrent’s Lucky Bitches VS Deokoria’s Misfits

It was unfortunate that someone had to win this game, but the Bitches (1-4-0) finally got lucky with the Misfits (1-4-0). Despite spotting the Misfits three players the Bitches were able to eek out a 49.06 to 40.92 win. With the victory the Bitches jump to their highest sport in the standings this season, tenth. The Misfits slide one spot back to eleventh. Next week the Bitches try their luck against the GiMets, while the Misfits try not to get slapped by the Punchers.

I find myself really looking forward to the weekly recaps!

I have a recommendation for them:

Delve into the scores a bit and see if there are any specific reasons why someone did well, surprisingly well, surprisingly poorly, etc. Was it a certain player going nuts and delivering huge points? Was it a usually good player sucking wind?

I know it adds more work for you Gadiantor, but I bet it would rock.
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

There is never a good time for lazy writing!
