CGI babes in Playboy

In what has to called confirmation on how far the computer graphics have came along since "All your base are belong to us", Playboy magazine will, in one of their upcomming issues, use CGI babes as centerfolds.

To be more specific it is the Bloodrayne character from the game of the same title that will made a topless appreance on the pages of Playboy. She will be followed by characters from Mortal Kombat and Tekken, and last but not least babes from the new Larry game.

With all the post production work that goes on with every picture and especially on cover shots, it's not been 'real' for years. I wonder how CGI are going to reproduce that 'girl next door' quality?

It is a matter of personal taste, I guess. After all the photos you normally see are not selling you something, but an idea of something. And as Kraxe mentioned, most of those have been re-touched and tempered with for years. As for most of us, we probably have the same chance of meeting the CGIs as we do with the real bunnies...

Well, since all you have to do is buy the game to "meet" the CGI girl, you can meet them quite easily.

And I have seen some sites that show before and after pics demonstrating how heavily they are retouched. It is truly staggering.

I'm glad to see computer game characters getting this attention. I am also glad to see adult oriented games being made.
