    Web Services for Hosting Pictures

This issue seems to come up a lot for people who want to have a place to put personal or character pictures.

For the purposes of this thread, please recommend sites that do not put any weird ads or other garabage that obscures the pictures (like geocities/yahoo's always on top banner box).

Hopefully this will help out folks who need services like this and don't have their own webspace.
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

I have some space available for use..no banners and junk. If anyone would like to make use of the space, send me an email or PM.

When I had a couple pictures to put up for the forums, I used www.freewebs.com. That seemed to work well enough for just showing a couple photos, didn't have always-on-top ads, and (I don't think) didn't have problems with the viewer load. The pages have a banner at the top.

I don't know much more about it, though, beyond throwing a couple pics up.

I find that webshots.com isn't too bad. I haven't had issues with them yet, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I've had no issues with Picturetrail.com and they allow you to use webspace free (they give you quite a bit of room) for like 3 months at first I believe. After that there is a minimal subscription amount (I think $20US per year. But if you are in a fix and just need some pics up, sign up to picturetrail.com and just remove your account after a couple months. They dont act for any credit card info or anything unless you're trying to register up your account, it's win win for a quick fix.

Ok, by far the best one I've used is:

Give it a try, it's much much simpler than signing up for webspace.
