So far we have three teams signed up:

We're off to a good start, but I'd like to get peole who are serious signed up so we can start talking about league settings.

The first live draft we did was a disaster, but I'm willing to try another one now that most everyone has high-speed connections and I think the system for live drafting is better now than it was our first season. Auto-draft is fine too, but not quite as exciting.

As far as the positions go, I'm a fan of using two QBs (and decreasing their point potential slightly) in small leagues, but we should have enough players this season for the standard one starting QB to work.

We also need to decide how we want to work the playoffs. I like to have them weeks 16 and 17, but a lot of people shy away from that because some star players don't see much time if they are in a meaningless week 17 game before going into the playoffs...I think this is part of the fun of week 17 finals, but some people think it sucks.

Anyway, just some things to start thinking about!

OK, we have ten teams, but at least two that don't want to do premium league. Ten teams is really the minimum we want to start the league with, so two more people signed up that want to do the premium league would be good! Here is who I have so far:

So, the next order of business is to find out if anyone else will bow out if we go with the premium league.

We need two more premium players to make the league work as it stands (of for the 'no premium' guys to change their minds ).

I'll propose we keep it to $25 since this is the first year trying it, and if it goes well we can talk about making it more next year. $250 in the prize pot should make for some ok prizes.

$100 regged for 1st
$50 for 2nd
$100 for a couple of $50 special prizes or four $25 prizes.
(or any combination of things that would also work, this is just an idea)
