I don't know about you, but I don't think they should be charged with escape at all ( they didn't actually escape permanently) or attempted escape! I think it was big of them to actually RETURN to jail after the nigh criminal ineptitude of the correctional facility. At the very least, this should be considered favorably on their next paroll hearing.
