I'm as anti-Bush as the next guy, but I don't blame the atrocities being commited on him. The only ones to blame for it are the officers that gave the orders and the soldiers that obeyed them. The way I see it, sick fucks are going to be sick fucks. If they weren't in Iraq, they'd likely be doing something equally as disgusting somewhere else.

On the other hand, Bush is the top of the chain of command, so he does have responsibilities in the matter. He has to make ammends for the actions of his troops, and he has to make sure that actions like this stop happening. To be honest, it sounds like he's trying to do just that.

All in all, it sounds like a case of sick fucks being sick fucks. It could have happened under any leader, and in any country.
