Sued for flaming in online forums?

In Norway a 17 year old girl was found guilty of chicane via an public online discussion forum.

The punishment for calling another girl a 'whore' is a fine of 4500 Norwigean crowns (about $650). The judge in the case ment that the sued teen had violated the counterpart by reckless behaviour.

Many believe that the sentence is a violation of the freedom of speech, but the court did not see it that way. The court is giving equal status between chicane and bullying/flaming, with support of an expert in the freedom of expression that has a doctor degree in the field.

Unfortunately the only link I could find is in Norwegian.

    ...

It's good to see that US has some competition when it comes to ridiculous lawsuits.

It's good that we would never-ever do such thing as flame someone online... Right?

    Good lord, that is hideous.

People should remember this sort of thing when they rag on the US.
Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my Uncle Jack off a horse." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse."

There is never a good time for lazy writing!
