    Cravings

    Can anyone help?

Due to the very addictive nature of Threshold I have a very serious problem. I've come back home off holiday only to find that eveytime gmud tries to connect, it won't! It just times out. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? Before complete mental breakdown sets in!

how are you connecting? I find it's best to use the IP. The IP can be found on the website but this is it IP# 63.94.211.50 (port 23).

    Hope this helps!

Have you tried to connect through telnet? See if it's not GMUD in itself?

first things first. Since I don't know what Operating system you're using. Do a search on your c: drive for telnet.exe

once you find it open it up and type:

    open 63.94.211.50 :23

That will connect you to Threshold.

Well I must be completely inept. Because I open telnet, try typing and all I get is a very annoying tapping sound from my speakers. I'm using win98SE by the way. If I want to connect using the connect function host name is threshold-rpg.com and port is 23 right? But what is the term type?

    Sorry for bothering everyone.

Don't remember the specific term type. Try them all til you get the best one. VT200 or VT400 or something. can't remember it's been too long.
