this is taken from my laughing at a registrar being named GoDaddy.
I'd never heard of them and thought their name was rather funny.
In the past I've used mydomain.com to register my domains and control my dns info. Very good!
Who do you use?

Who do you use?
I wanna love you but I better not touch
I wanna hold you but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you but I want it too much
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
For all my domain registrations i've used gkg.net
I rule.

I use GoDaddy.com
What made me look into them originally was when they crushed VeriSign/Network Solutions in a law suit.
They are one of the cheapest domain registrars around ($8.95 per year) yet the have an excellent web site with excellent management tools. They maintain their low cost by having no toll-free phone support and they sell value added services.
If you watch The Screensavers on TechTV they recommend them as well (though I was already using them before I heard them recommend it on that show).

I remembered this thread and thought I'd resurrect it with some bad information I've been seeing regarding GoDaddy, recently.

Which led me to: http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/200...y_meet_no.html
And finally to:

I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
That is some major bitterness. Most of the problems seem to be with their hosting or the way they treat their employees.
I have used GoDaddy for years, and never had any problems. But this wouldn't be the first time things fell to pieces at an otherwise good company. I remember how rapidly UUnet declined after MCI bought them.![]()
