Office Excel question

OK I am so clueless with stuff like this but......

Where can I download or how do I get more options to have a date in? Before I upgraded I had a date I could use that looked like this:

01-Feb-04

Now that I have upgraded I can't seem to find that particular date set anymore on my options when I format the cell.

Any clue where to get it or find it?

I'm using Office 2000. Is that what you have?

I can click on the cell and hit Ctrl+1 and click on the number tab. There's a date with the format 14-Mar-98 as an example. I think the clicks are the same for Office 2003 but I'm not sure if the format just isn't there.

You might can create a custom number format using the format codes, but I've never had the need to do that so I'm not sure how.

I am not sure how to edit format codes to add it in there..

Hi Shani,

If that format isn't available in your version, you can just choose custom format and type in dd-mmm-yy in the type box.
