The worst part about the TO situation is there might be a deal where he becomes a free agent and the niners get compensated with a draft pick between the first and second rounds, or in other words, #33 overall.
How is this fair to the rest of the league who all get bumped down one spot for every pick they make after the first round simply because TO and his agent are a pair of boobs?
If the Niner's want TO to be a free agent, release him without compensation, otherwise trade him or play him.
As far as Palmer goes there are probably 2 factors that have him starting. 1) He makes too much money to ride the pine and 2) As good as Kitna was, his passing rating was under 90 (if my memory serves me correctly) but was decent. They might be thinking he's just jumped the shark and it can't get any better than this.
To quote Billick, "The only way to learn anything in the NFL is to play" I guess its time for Palmer to learn something.
I wasn't implying Billick is his coach, just that he used that philosophy to let Boeller play
