I think they need a four team playoff, but I'm not sure if adding more teams (and weeks) would help. Although, they do take most of december off so maybe there is plenty of time for more. It seems to work out fairly consistantly year after year that there are 3 or so teams that should have a shot at the national championship, but if you go to 8 then you'd usually start including about 4 2 loss teams and I'm not sure if I like that idea.

I guess the whole problem with a playoff system is money and I've heard two different arguements, the bowls make them a ton of money, and a playoff system could make them so much more money that they would face more criticism about not giving something back to the players.

I can't believe OU lost to KState . I'm embarassed for them.
