That's very true about the NFL. The beauty of the INSANELY HUGE tv contract (which is shared equally) is that the income of the various teams is somewhat similar. It is certainly close enough that they can all afford a full, quality team.

If they stick with a salary cap, I really want to see some kind of cap % reduction for players that have been with the team a long time. I want teams to be able to KEEP the players they drafted, they developed, or they picked up when nobody else seemed to want them.

But if there is no salary cap, that could be interesting as well.
